Eco-participation and Product Recycling (WEEE)
The European Union, then France through its decree of 20 July 2005, established a sector for the collection and recycling of electrical and electronic equipment in a public interest approach.
In this context, BOUDET S.A.S. is a member of the eco-organisation ecosystem in order to participate in the collection and recycling of end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment.
Since November 2006, an environmental contribution called eco-participation appears on the purchase invoice. It is used to cover the costs of waste collection and treatment, and is fully transferred by BOUDET S.A.S. to ecosystem to finance the sector.

This identifier, assigned by ADEME to BOUDET S.A.S. (SIRET 379 128 143 00011) pursuant to Article L.541-10-13 of the French Environmental Code, attests to our compliance with our obligations to register in the register of producers of electrical and electronic equipment and to make our declarations of placing on the market with ecosystem.
Do not throw away your old appliances. Several solutions are available to you:
- through your reseller;
- in your municipality via collection points;
- through social and solidarity economy associations.
The "crossed-out wheelie bin" symbol on the packaging or manuals of the products concerned indicates that these must not be disposed of with household waste, but deposited at a collection point provided for this purpose (European Union and EEA: Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein).

Deliveries in the European Union: for deliveries outside mainland France, BOUDET S.A.S. complies with the extended producer responsibility (EPR) obligations in force in the country of destination, in accordance with the national transpositions of Directive 2012/19/EU on WEEE. End-of-life equipment can be deposited at approved collection points in the consumer's country of residence.
